Nina's Desi Kitchen

We spoke with one of the employees there who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The food he recommended did not disappoint. It was really great. We ate it there and the restaurant is cozy with a nice atmosphere. Would definitely go again.

We began the first day of our vacation on a bad not with the locations either being partially open or not open at all. Lunch wasn't that great either. Somehow we went to Wadsworth falls and had fun. After finished enjoy our time at the falls, we were hungry to another level. You see this level being famished is something else and when we are famished, we always look for @desi.food and viola we found a gem! A recently opened Pakistani restaurant that serves traditional desi-pakistani food at its best! You would not believe the owners are down to earth kinda people. We were running late as the restaurant closes at 9 and we would be there by 8:20. Most restaurants would turn us away as we were late, but Nina's kitchen did not, rather welcomed us with such warmth, that we were halfway full with their generosity. They were pretty accomodating and took our order over the phone to save us some time. As soon as we opened the door, the aroma was out of this world and the view was just mouth watering. Our table was ready with our orders being served on the go! We ordered the following: 1. Chicken Karahi - 5 2. Chicken Shami Kebab - 5 3. Shahi Lamb Biryani - 4.7 4. Laccha Paratha - 4.8 5. Garlic Naan - 5 We spoke with the owners for a long time and their story is something you should visit and listen. As we were finishing our food, they came to us and said, "Since you had a bad day, we would love to give you 2 cups of masala chai - IT WAS AWESOME & CAN'T BE RATED (tea) and Sooji Ka Halwa -5 (dessert)". We were humbled and whispered under our breath, what a end to a day that began otherwise. The couple followed all protocols according to Covid-19 pandemic and we felt safe to eat there. Masks were worn through and through with other safety measures. The picture was taken without the masks just for picture courtesy sake. For what it's worth! Excellent food! Unique fare and flavor... this is not your everyday Pakistani. The place is delectably appointed creating a very positive vibe. Kashmiri tea, they call it different is a must try if your here for the first time or have never tried it before. Owners have put in a great effort and I wish them all the success.

If I could rate this more than 5 stars, I would. 1st of all, the mango lassi has a thick yet smooth, satisfying texture that soothes down one's throat while serving a sweet but not an overly sugary drink. I highly recommend this drink for anyone new to Nina's, but I also highly recommend getting the chicken handi alongside the mango lassi. If you're looking for chicken handi with the most tender, aromatic pieces of chicken bursting with flavor, then this place is perfect for you. 1000000/10, would 100% go again.

Visiting from Texas my truck broke down so accidently ended up trying this place & loved everything about it!!!! From the beautiful decor to the amazing food. No wonder this place has such awesome reviews. The owners are super friendly. Thank you for the amazing food & service!

Very friendly place. couzy friendly staff.owner is there all the time they are also the chef. Delicious food.I order a charity chicken,Saag paneer with naan and rice.And for dessert we order Halwa. Right on the spot.spices very on spot Delicious. we are visftom Virginia, if comeback to this down will visit again.

Truly a pleasant place to eat and smile. The owners are sweet and hardworking. Although the place is small and the hours are weird for a restaurant, it is worth to get in and taste the food. We also ordered some biryani which they gave us fresh on Sunday when the restaurant was closed. Forgot to take a picture before we finished it but nothing was left at the end. Really appreciated the effort put into customer service. Must Try.
